Job description
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Commissioning Engineer, ideally based in the South East or West, to join our busy refrigeration company based in Ringwood, Hampshire.
As part of the commercial install / commissioning team, you will be joining to support a range of new installations around the country.
Ideally candidates will have demonstrable experience working within a Refrigeration Commissioning role within Commercial / Supermarket environments.
Your principal accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
- Perform commissioning duties during various installations adhering to both the client and company specifications.
- Prepare and submit final commissioning reports clearly and explicitly to the Project Manager & Installation & Technical Manager.
- To attend sites to produce dilapidation reports, recommend cost effective solutions to any issues noted.
- To carry out various site surveys as required.
- To support training of other engineers as required.
- Recommend most effective improvements to defective equipment and implement.
- To assist the project team with the supervision of ongoing installations.
- Assist our aftersales department with troubleshooting if necessary.
You must be able to demonstrate the following key skills & competencies:
- Experienced within the commercial/supermarket retail business.
- Working on HFC, Hydrocarbon and Co2 refrigeration equipment.
- Knowledge on leading control equipment, within the industry.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Relevant Refrigeration certification i.e., City & Guilds in Refrigeration, 2079, HC & Co2 experience.
This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start available, a 42.5-hour basic working week; there is an enhanced rate of time and a half for worked overtime.
The starting salary will be £39,993 per annum; bank holidays & Sundays paid at double time (project depending).
The other benefits will include Company Car or allowance, pension at 8%, 25 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays and pay rates reviewed annually, sickness pay after 12 months service 4 weeks full / 4 weeks half (increases with service), IT equipment and company (Smart) phone.
