Are you an experienced Energy and Environmental Manager, wanting to play a Pivotal part in environmental management?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Assets Team; based In Alfreton, for an Energy and Environmental Manager on a full time (37 hours) permanent basis.
Our Assets team are involved in a range of services relating to property, assets and estates management.
As the Energy & Environmental Manager, you will take a lead role in developing and maintaining the force Environmental Steering group and policies on Energy Conservation.
Keeping abreast of advancements in energy saving schemes, technology and devices, you will be responsible for managing the process of selection, tendering and awarding of external contracts for the supply of the Force’s energy requirements, to ensure competitive energy pricing is obtained.
You will Ensure all energy consumption is recorded, critically analysed and targets set for achievable reductions. Collating and preparing regular reports on energy and utility consumption and targets meeting with client representatives of internal users to discuss energy consumption patterns, enabling reductions to be met, and value for money achieved.
