Our Connect IT Team are a one-stop shop providing quality technical support to our colleagues in the office, and those remotely based. Working as part of a talented team, you'll be the first point of contact for any technical requests, improving your colleague's IT experiences, and helping resolve any issues or challenges they face with a continuous desire to deliver an exceptional end-user experience.

You'll help manage our Apple Mac and Windows devices, creating policies and rolling out configuration changes, troubleshooting and solving IT incidents promptly. Handling IT queries via email, instant messaging, phone, and walk-ups will be a pivotal part of this role. Setting up Audio Visual in our meeting and event spaces, helping our people to get the best out of technology and providing any training required.
This role isn't just about reacting to problems, we're also looking for someone to be proactive and curious as you'll also be involved in various ongoing technical projects from planning and testing to roll-out, you'll have the opportunity and autonomy to take real ownership and identify and make service improvements where necessary.

What we're looking for
- Have experience in a variety of different technologies and feel comfortable applying yourself to new problems – we'd expect you to be familiar with Windows, Mac, basic networking, and wireless technologies.
- Have the desire to improve both the technical and non-technical aspects of the teams daily activities by suggesting new ways of working, technologies and always striving to innovate and problem solve
- Be an active team contributor and enjoy collaborating to share knowledge and skills so that everyone in the team has the skills to fully support our people
- Seek out opportunities to develop your knowledge of new and changing industry trends
- Put the customer/end user first, ensuring that they have the best experience possible

We're offering a salary between £24,000 and £34,000, and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being. You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve. Due to the nature of this role, you will be predominately based on site in our Manchester office but will have the opportunity to work from home on a rotational basis.
