On behalf of our client, we are seeking a part time Employment Solicitor to work 3 days per week, (hybrid working may be possible). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join an established, highly regarded team.
The existing employment team enjoys an excellent reputation boasting extensive experience of advising on all aspects of the employment relationship. Building close relationships with their clients they provide practical legal advice on day-to-day employment issues such as performance, sickness absence management, disciplinary hearings, grievance processes, discrimination issues and dismissal, through to strategic advice on large scale restructures, redundancies, sales and mergers and negotiating exit packages. They also represent clients through the tribunal process.
The successful candidate will be looking for a role with a reputable full-service law firm acting primarily for employers.
You will have high level experience in advising on the practical application of employment law, providing commercial solutions to everyday problems with a view to avoiding litigation. The team’s client base is considerably varied with a wide variety of interesting legal issues to address and therefore a breadth of experience across all employment matters is required.
You must also be experienced in representing both employees and employers in the Employment Tribunal, including their own advocacy at hearings.
The Team works closely with the wider commercial team in dealing with business sales, mergers and acquisitions and therefor the ideal candidate will have practical experience of TUPE and redundancy consultation.

You will be required to have active involvement in business development activities & marketing initiatives.
