Your New Role
As part of the broader Talent Acquisition team, our Employer Branding team is passionate about crafting and promoting a compelling, authentic story that makes Warner Bros. Discovery stand out as an employer of choice. We’re seeking an Employer Branding Intern with a strong communications background who will help us attract and engage the best talent by showcasing the value of working at Warner Bros. Discovery and bringing our employee experience to life. This role will give you a unique global experience as you will be working with, and learning from, colleagues across our key regions (APAC, EMEA, LATAM and US).
Your Role Accountabilities
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to create the messaging and copy for impactful, creative campaigns that embolden the Warner Bros. Discovery brand and attract top, diverse talent.
- Continually reviewing and contributing copy recommendations to the WBD careers site. Developing SEO-optimized short and long-form copy will be an important component of this role.
- Help us build an evergreen content library by writing copy for employee stories and spotlights for the WBD LinkedIn and @WBDlife Instagram & Twitter, the WBD Life blog, WBD location-specific newsletters and more.
- Monitor new trends in employer branding and recruitment marketing, research the competitive landscape, and understand the evolving social landscape.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- You must be a recent or soon-to-be university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2021.
- Strong writing and editorial skills: This is a copy-heavy internship. You should be able to write both short and long-form content and be comfortable adapting your writing style to our brand voice, whether it’s for an Instagram caption or a blog post.
- Passion for storytelling: You understand the elements that go into creating cohesive and captivating stories that build brand reputation, and understand how to communicate our goals through editorial content.
- Technical prowess and digital savvy: You have experience with the usual tools like MS Office and/or Google Suite and can get up to speed on new platforms with ease. Familiarity with graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere & Photoshop)and Canva would be beneficial.
- Stellar production prowess: You can edit short- and long-form video & audio content and are resourceful if remote videography & production is needed.
- Project management: You enjoy taking on new projects and can execute them from start to finish. This role will have you juggling multiple tasks from three different locations across the globe. It’s important you’re able to handle and prioritize.
- Relationship building: You are a great teammate who can effectively partner cross-functionally with various teams.
- You have strong written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
- You must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
- You must be a self-starter with the ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks when under time constraints.
