We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual, who is passionate about wellbeing to lead our internal employee wellbeing programme.
This post requires a proactive and self-motivated individual, who can work in a flexible manner, managing different pieces of work at the same time. The role will take the lead in developing a good workplace wellbeing offer that is fit for purpose and guided by insight findings.
The successful candidate will be required to build and maintain effective relationships across all departments within the council, from front line staff to executive level and external partners. The nature of this, means the role requires a person who can tailor their approach to those they are engaging with.
Knowledge of key health promotion messages and wellbeing support is fundamental to be able to create effective marketing campaigns and strategies that are engaging and communicate to the whole workforce. Alongside this, the role will support our network of Mental Health & Wellbeing Champions, so previous experience of working with champions or volunteers is beneficial, but excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
As well as having good people skills, this role will involve gathering and evaluating data and insights to inform practice, so good analytical skills are also required.
