advo has a unique and exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join their Employee Benefits team, based in Maidstone ME16. At advo we need candidates who possess transferable insurance based Account Management skills to add value to our business and become part of our on-going success! You will join an existing team of Employ Account Managers on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum + company car allowance, unlimited commission with OTE earning of £35,000-40,000+. In addition company funded benefits include: Life Insurance, Private Healthcare, Cash Plan, Income Protection & Pension as well as funded CII membership & exams.

Your key responsibilities and duties within the role of Account Manager consist of:
- Managing a portolfio of SME/mid corporate Employee Benefits clients
- Obtaining renewal documents in good time from the insurer, telephone/meet client to discuss the client’s demands & needs;
- Provide full written advice and recommendations in report format;
- Undertake full market reviews and arrange suitable meetings (face to face/telephone) to discuss the recommendations made;
- Negotiate with holding insurers where applicable & provide cost saving options, advising clients of the ramifications of reducing benefits;
- Negotiate with alternative insurers if a client wishes to switch insurers. Make clients aware of switch criteria and implications to any members have continuing claims.
- Deliver employee presentations effectively and attend benefit fairs where necessary;
- Provide information and assistance to clients across the range of advo services, maximising opportunities to cross sell within the portfolio against your set target;
- Meet set new business targets, attending face to face and telephone or virtual appointments
- Handle claims queries made by Group Secretaries and Members
- Insurer networking
- Compliance with FCA

Insurance background required although does not need to be sector specific - training will be provided.
