Worley are looking for a Senior level Environmental Consultant to join the Energy and Emissions Team to assist with environmental engineering projects and assist in the growth of the team’s service across industries and sectors.
The scope of work will range from performing at subject matter expert advisory level to more technical input including emissions calculation, assessment and development emissions reduction strategies and action plans. More specifically, the work will include Carbon baselining, Emission forecasting, Emission Monitoring and Best Available Technique (BAT) assessment scopes. The role will involve working with clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region; therefore, knowledge of regulatory requirements in the UK, EU and international best practice as applicable to the region is required.
The role will involve liaising with clients (both external and internal) to understand their developing needs with consideration for future developments in environmental legislation and market direction to scope out future pipeline of work and prepare scopes of work for proposals as necessary, therefore confidence in engagement with clientele is a must.
The role will require the candidate to take the lead on projects and discrete work scopes to see the delivery through to successful completion.
The ideal candidate will have broad background in delivering on environmental and environmental engineering-based projects with prior experience in expanding and growing services in this discipline.
Roles and responsibilities:
Representative of the Environmental / Energy and Emissions teams to clientele and other business units within Worley
Take on project management as required to ensure delivery on scope of work, oversee scheduling of resources, budgeting and other project administrative tasks.
Input to, prepare and develop reports, presentation material, calculations and other deliverables as required under the project specific scope of work.
Support Environment and Society Group across various projects where necessary
liaise with cross discipline project teams and clients

Background:
Candidate will have experience in environmental and environmental engineering type projects across a number of sectors including (but not limited to) offshore, Oil and Gas, mining & minerals and energy. Candidate will have established network of clientele from prior roles and experience of developing ongoing practical relationships with clients.
Candidate will be proactive, keeping on top of developments in legislative requirements and with provable experience in actively engaging with both external and internal clients to help formulate future scopes of work.
