Our award-winning Talent Management Department are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and proactive professional who will play a key role in creating new aspects of our Emerging Talent offering, and helping line managers to select , onboard and nurture our emerging talent pool of colleagues. The team are also responsible for leading and implementing GB and International career development concepts, and for ensuring the continuous professional development of our leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to impact the business UK-wide and help optimise solutions. Working across various areas of the business, the ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and recognise the importance of continuous employee development. We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do
- Supporting with the roll out of Talent topics, including the running of the annual talent cycle
- Creation and implementation of Development Programmes (e.g. LEX Days, 360 feedback)
- Moderating Development Days
- Developing, proposing and designing development ideas and topics
- Delivering and facilitating Training initiatives
- Selection and development of Graduates and Apprentices
- Creating and maintaining career pathways for the emerging talent pool
- Identifying external stakeholders and organisations to develop our emerging talent
- Liaising with stakeholders in regions, Head Office and with International colleagues
- Managing systems to monitor Training and Talent records and progress
What you'll need
- A genuine passion for the development of colleagues within the business
- Previous experience in developing early careers and emerging talent
- Understanding and experience with Talent Development concepts advantageous
- Proactive, out of the box thinking when identifying process improvements
- Adaptable communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate people across different hierarchical levels
- Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple topics at once
