Job description
You and the team will carry out complex analysis of changing and new regulatory requirements, working closely with our business partners to understand the details of any change impacting the vast reporting demand from both internal and external sources. Then develop detailed user stories and work directly with our technology counterparts to build, test and ultimately deliver vital reporting changes into Production to ensure the latest reporting demand can be fully met.
As a Project Manager you will lead and deliver projects that enhance functionality and reporting provided by existing corporate reporting platforms. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery following the Project Life Cycle. You will partner with key business and technology partners to analyze business/operational processes, identify business and operational requirements, oversee technology build, manage user testing, and coordinate solution implementation. The Project Manager is accountable for providing senior management comprehensive project updates.
The Regulatory Projects team is a service-orientated project delivery function comprised of specialised individuals with knowledge and expertise in project delivery practices as well as strong grounding in the product and functional areas of an investment banking in short we are the glue between our business partners in the Finance function and our highly skilled technology teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Implementing enhancements and process improvements working across a wide range of stakeholders
- Functional requirement analysis & Identification of any data gaps of the regulatory reporting;
- Creation of user stories and engagement with Technology for build of the identified requirements;
- Develop testing plans including data requirements and expected outcomes
- Perform UAT including data validation testing exercise before delivery in Production;
- Ensure any defects are raised, monitored and re-tested for user acceptance.
- Provide project Lead with regular updates on the status of the project;
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Excellent team player with partnering and influencing skill who can partner closely with peers and changing stakeholders
- Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership and able to make constructive observations and recommendations
- Good organizational skills - manages & prioritizes multiple tasks and high focus on quality
- Exploratory mind-set, able to see issues at both a high-level and in detail, and understand applicability across the business
- Robust analytical, problem solving, process re-engineering skills and ability to perform multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information in different forms and details based on the audience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- ACA or ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant
- Exposure to modern analysis tools and techniques
- Exposure to or understanding of Agile
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - MS Excel , MS Access, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
