RESPONSIBILITIES

EMEA Area Sales Manager (High-Tech)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus
Location: Home based UK with travels, ideally near Airport.
Candidates could be located near the following cities: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Southampon, Liverpool, Newcastle, Cambridge, Oxford, Bristol, Leicester, Coventry, Cardiff, Nottingham

Main Duties:

Responsible for high value, predominantly B2B sales & via a network of agents and distributors


The Role:

  • Responsible for meeting personal targets for direct B2B sales of high value equipment products
  • Cover Aerospace & Defence industry but also Transport & Engineering sectors
  • Develop and manage a network of manufacturer’s representatives
  • Act as a first point of contact for nominated region of EMEA customers
  • Work closely with other team members to identify and prioritise business opportunities
  • Use CRM Customer/Prospect database to manage prospects / establish needs & potential sales
  • Cold call to establish needs and potential interest in our products
  • Follow up to develop interest, identify options and best product solution for customer
  • Establish budgets & budget cycles with key players in all areas, including engineering, manufacturing, facilities & finance
  • Identify, support & work with leaders within customer’s organisation to closure and receipt of order and aftermarket
  • Travel extensively throughout Europe to visit and manage Distributors & Agents and attend Trade Fairs
  • Develop & maintain weekly sales plans / forecasts in line with business requirements
  • Maintain Account Plans for all existing customers identifying Key Accounts to extract repeat orders
  • Preparation of sales presentations, including cost benefit analysis /ROI based on real case studies
  • Identify production & technical issues in the customers’ operations which offer potential new business opportunities

CANDIDATE'S PROFILE

  • Fluent in at least one European language such as: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Danish
  • Proven experience within Aerospace, Defence, Transport or Engineering sector
  • Strong commercial & technical awareness to facilitate the rapid transfer of new ideas and products
  • Clear strategic thinking & informed decision-making,
  • Manage conflicting priorities, ability find balance between prudence & acceptable risk
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels,
  • Natural at establishing strong relationships and providing clear management

SALARY

Up to £60,000 + Bonus
