Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude to join us at U&S Clothing as we are looking to expand our embroidery team with the addition of an Embroidery Machine Operator/assistant. Immediate start ! Full Training Will be given.
Main duties will include the following:
The individual will contribute to the operating of the machines and will be involved in all aspects of quality control. Running, setting up and maintaining the Single-head embroidery machines.
Checking customer orders for relevant information including, logos, sizes and products. Setting the embroidery machines to the correct functions and loading with the correct materials and framing garments in straight positioning. Liaising with the Manager.
Job Role will include.
- Maintenance of equipment including replacing needles, cleaning and oiling.
- Quality inspection of garments, framing garments, packing, labelling and bagging items
- Selecting correct threads as per files
- Position logos to meet specific customer needs
- Folding and packing garments.
You may also be required to work in all other areas of the business as and when required. Some administration and organisational experience would also be very advantageous to the role.

Hours: Full Time/Part-Time. 5 days a week (may include Saturdays/Sundays) - with opportunities for more hours

Salary: £10.60-£11.50 per hour
