We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit 2x talented and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineers to further complement our Embedded Software Development team here at our HQ in Dover!
As our Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of embedded software for our state-of-the-art products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to deliver robust, high-performance, and reliable embedded solutions.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of embedded software for our next-generation products, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with the hardware team to define the software architecture and ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components.
- Debug and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner, utilizing debugging tools, emulators, and simulation environments.
- Optimize software performance and memory usage for resource-constrained embedded systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software components to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in embedded software technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities.
Required Technical Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven expert experience (3+ years) in embedded software development using C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.).
- Track record of successfully delivering embedded software projects from concept to production.
- Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools.
