As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our marketing efforts, specifically focusing on email campaigns and customer communication. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective email marketing strategies to engage our existing and prospective customers, drive sales, and enhance customer loyalty. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary starting at £27.000 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns to promote our products and services to targeted customer segments.
- Develop compelling email content and design appealing templates to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze email campaign performance metrics to optimise engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate email marketing efforts with other digital marketing channels for cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Build and maintain customer email lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Segment customer databases based on demographics, preferences, and purchasing behavior to deliver personalised and targeted email communications.
- Monitor and report on key email marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in email marketing to ensure continuous innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in email marketing, preferably in a B2B or e-commerce setting.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.) and proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with data analytics and the ability to interpret email marketing performance metrics.
- Excellent written communication skills with an ability to craft compelling and persuasive email copy.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset to develop visually appealing email templates.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
