Role Purpose:

To Support project management and Production with providing the technical and engineering resource to support the company's sales and manufacturing activities whilst collaborating with the wider workforce.

Requirements:

• Qualifications; ideally a bachelors degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Lean Manufacturing disciplines and previous experience using Poke Yoke, CAD etc.
• Excellent problem solving, Analytical and technical skills
• Quality Driven
• Time Management, Communication and Customer Service Skills

Main Duties:

• Lead/Support specification of new tooling and product design.
• ·Experience in Press tool try out/press tool maturation.
• Lead process standardisation
• Development of lessons learnt to ensure right first-time tool and process implementation (lean manufacturing disciplines)
• Working with tooling partners to design and make tools.
• RFQ support.
• Creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures
• Lead Process Engineering projects and improvements.
• Create Project Timing Plans covering the specifics of all projects under your control
• Complete cost tracking for budget
• Inter discipline coordination and overall quality control of work
• Identify internal CAD requirements and request resources

Working Hours: 37 hours 8:00am - 4:30pm, 1pm Finish on a Friday

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
