Role Purpose:
To Support project management and Production with providing the technical and engineering resource to support the company's sales and manufacturing activities whilst collaborating with the wider workforce.
Requirements:
- Qualifications; ideally a bachelors degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Lean Manufacturing disciplines and previous experience using Poke Yoke, CAD etc.
- Excellent problem solving, Analytical and technical skills
- Quality Driven
- Time Management, Communication and Customer Service Skills
Main Duties:
- Lead/Support specification of new tooling and product design.
- ·Experience in Press tool try out/press tool maturation.
- Lead process standardisation
- Development of lessons learnt to ensure right first-time tool and process implementation (lean manufacturing disciplines)
- Working with tooling partners to design and make tools.
- RFQ support.
- Creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures
- Lead Process Engineering projects and improvements.
- Create Project Timing Plans covering the specifics of all projects under your control
- Complete cost tracking for budget
- Inter discipline coordination and overall quality control of work
- Identify internal CAD requirements and request resources
Working Hours: 37 hours 8:00am - 4:30pm, 1pm Finish on a Friday
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
