This newly developed and exciting email marketing role is an opportunity for an experienced email marketing professional to join us at a crucial time. It is a fantastic opportunity that will give the right person a chance to make a huge contribution to the growth and development of the Gear4music email product strategy in the UK & Europe.
What you will do
Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, the Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing our branded, category and own brand email marketing strategies, to generate revenue, product awareness and customer retention.You’ll be working with colleagues from across the business, including product management to build best in class user flows in our product, and marketing to create ideal customer journeys for prospecting, upselling and retention.
You will manage all stages of the email process including building the campaigns, audience segmentation, carrying out relevant testing, scheduling, and reporting on performance and progress.
You’ll take ownership of building customer segments in our CRM
You’ll take the lead in developing and maintaining the responsive email templates, troubleshooting issues, and staying abreast of technology advances.
You’ll be our guiding light with testing, analysing, and reporting on email campaign performance on a recurring basis. You’ll use this to identify trends and opportunities for improved open, click-thru and conversion rates.
Who you are
Extensive email marketing experience in a dynamic & fast-paced B2C professional environment.
- Proven experience in acquisition-related roles with a growth mindset, a proven understanding of CRM and experience in solving business problems.
- Competent using HTML/CSS
- You have experience with designing email templates, graphics, and assets
- Passion for user experience, knowledge development and keeping up to date with the latest email marketing best practices.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills & strong time and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills for data-led decision-making.
- Experience with Benchmark, SendGrid & Asana is beneficial.
