Job description

A mission critical role for S4 is the Email Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you would partner with our Events team to drive digital operational solutions for a range of events, working with global clients including one of the world's largest tech companies.

The ideal candidate will have experience or an interest to learn:

  • Sound knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Experience in delegate registration and communication
  • Excellent attention to detail when proofreading communications and event registration set up
  • Knowledge of HTML or a thirst to learn
  • Basic data analysis - Experience with Excel / Google sheet formulas and Pivot tables Ideal but not necessary
  • Strong communication skills
  • Deadline & project management - both with internal stakeholders and clients
  • An excellent team player and able to take and learn from a positive feedback culture
  • Experience running simultaneous projects in a calm and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of G Suite (Google) products preferred
  • Versed in GDPR compliance, privacy and data protection
  • Proactive, disciplined, organized, self-starter and highly motivated
  • An innate passion to learn and grow
  • A positive can-do attitude to drive creativity and idea generation

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Senior Event manager and Comms and Platforms Manager on all digital and in-person events to assist in creating and maintaining event platforms, build and deploy email campaigns, as well as making sure event objectives are achieved
  • Support Comms and Platforms Manager and take ownership of event reporting and data analysis (during event planning and post-event)
  • Support the team with the management of the creative process to ensure all assets are delivered on time, on brief and on to specification
  • Become an expert in the inner workings of our client's internal event email deployment tools.
  • Ownership and /or collaboration into of project timelines and project plans
  • Support on technical aspects of live events including sending speaker kits out for technical briefings, video recordings and production output
  • Prepare support documents for client and agency teams
  • Providing ad hoc support to the wider events team, for responsibilities such as event onsite assistance, research or sourcing event requirements

Your experience will include:

  • 1-2 years of experience in event registration or email communication
  • Knowledge of G Suite (Google) products preferred
  • Experience working with senior and c suite clients and delegates with an understanding of the importance of the communications plan with the wider event
  • Sound knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Basic data analysis
  • Versed in GDPR compliance, privacy and data protection
