Email Designer

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Lytham St Annes, Lancashire
  • £25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience

This is all to support us in delivering our vision for highly personalised and seamless customer experiences at Beaverbrooks and as our new Email Designer, you’ll bring your passion and creativity to work with you, every day.


As the successful candidate you will work closely with the Email Co-ordinator and CRM team, designing and developing innovative email templates to help drive successful CRM campaigns; including customer journeys and automated communications. Main Responsibilities
  • Designing engaging, high performing emails - from concept to signed off layouts.
  • You’ll be working regular newsletters, tactical direct response campaigns and automated journey-led communications.
  • You’ll ensure emails are designed and built with best practice in mind, that they follow our brand guidelines, are responsive and they render correctly across the majority of devices.
  • Building emails via our Exponea platform.
  • You’ll be collaborating with the wider CRM team every day, brainstorming new ways to engage our database and drive traffic to site and stores, informed by customer, business, and trend insight. You’ll also be supporting them with test and learn strategies.
  • You’ll be working closely with our content team inspire and align with our onsite content calendar.
  • Keeping abreast of any new developments from wider retail/email marketing will be important to inform continuous development and improvement of our email campaigns.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous email design experience using HTML and CSS.
  • Experience using email building software such as Visual Builder.
  • Be a strong designer with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Be driven by performance and results.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and knowledge of render testing platforms such as Litmus.
  • Have a strong understanding of the limitations when it comes to building an email template also, hacks and solutions to overcome them.
  • Take ownership of the work.
  • Have experience using a CRM or email marketing platforms.
  • Understand interactive and dynamic components within email ensuring they are commercial and generate a direct response.
