Job description/Role
We are looking to recruit 4 Water Meter Technicians to support Severn Trent Water with their Green Recovery Project. Preferably we are looking for engineers with previous installation experience, however this is not a necessity as training will be provided upon induction. Working on one of our leading contracts you will be responsible for installing new Water Meters where they are required.
- Installing new Water Meters
- Monday – Friday work
- Opportunity to enter a relatively recession proof industry.
Engineer Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to use handheld IT device to complete and record jobs
- Ability to pass a DBS check
- Willingness to develop within the industry
- Good verbal communication and people skills as will be talking to customers on a daily basis explaining the process of the project and the works required
- Previous water meter installation experience preferred.
The Package
- Day shift.
- Price per install model with forecasted annual income of £28k - £35k.
- PPE will be supplied
- Vehicle and fuel card will be provided
- Opportunity to progress and develop new skills within the industry
- In-House support with dedicated training and development centre.
