Job description
Comtek’s core business is the repair of telecommunications products. We are looking for both part-time and full-time workers to assist the engineers with routine tasks. We have a friendly and supportive working environment.
The main tasks of this role would be;
· To take apart and reassemble electronic equipment prior to and following repairs by our engineers.
· To perform soldering and desoldering tasks.
· To clean equipment prior to quality checks.
· To perform other routine tasks to assist the engineers in completing their work.
Essential qualities
· Must be dexterous and able to use small tools-screwdriver, soldering iron etc.
· Must have an eye for detail.
· Must be well organised and efficient.
Complete training will be provided.
Hours of work
We are completely flexible in the hours worked between Monday and Friday. We would expect a minimum of four hours each day.
The salary will be paid according to the 2023 living wage requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
