Job Description:
We are actively looking for an exceptional Electronics Engineering Graduate to join our Engineering team, based in Cambridge.
The Electronics Engineering Graduate will help develop world class electronic products across both Automotive and Motorsport sectors.
The Role:
- Development and innovation, taking on responsibility for product electronic designs and prototyping.
- PCB design and layout, producing necessary assembly drawings/documentation.
- Interfacing with Mechanical, PCB and Electronic Engineers.
- Producing and testing prototypes where necessary.
- Identify and recommend product improvements to improve technical performance.
- Assist with the introduction of new designs into production.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of electronic engineering and software systems.
- Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
- Fault finding of PCBs and electronic systems.
- Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
- Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
Candidate Profile:
Required:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in both analogue and digital Electronic Hardware Design.
- Experience of PCB layout.
- Have knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Have energy and enthusiasm to work within multidisciplinary teams and multi-task across projects.
- Have a creative approach to problem solving.
- An understanding of design for EMC.
Desirable:
- Altium experience or the ability to use or learn the relevant tools to design and create schematic & PCB files.
- Electronic debug ability using high speed oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other standard test equipment.
