Your Responsibilities
As an Electronic Design Engineer for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group - Electronic Solutions division, located in Fargo, ND, you will:
Design, modify, and evaluate defined portions of electronic products for use in rugged environments.- Capture requirements, concept designs, perform analysis, simulate, integrate, and verify projects of basic scope.
- Select electronic components based on analysis of specifications and availability.
- Collaborate with engineers in other areas, including software, product verification, test design, and mechanical design.

What Skills You Need
Ability to technically comprehend microprocessor-based embedded electronic, software, and mechanical packaging designs and requirements.- Ability to perform routine engineering work requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out engineering tasks.
- Ability to technically comprehend testing, manufacturing, quality control, and marketing requirements.
- Able to make preliminary selections or adaptations of engineering alternatives.
- Ability to adapt electronic circuitry to vehicle and/or fixed equipment applications.
- Ability to direct the work of aides or technicians.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with Pspice or other circuit simulation tools.- Experience with Mentor Graphics or other schematic capture tools.
- Experience with designing to harsh environmental specifications.
- Experience with MathCAD.
- Experience with 16 or 32 bit micro controllers.
Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
