Job description
Electrician - Ocean Housing currently has 3 exicting opportunities in various departments within Property Services. All vacancies are Permanent, Full Time at 40 hours per week.
£36,658 (plus 5% multiskilled enhancement once probation passed)
The role offers:
- 27 days holiday (plus Banks)
- Occupational Sick Pay at 3 month full pay and 3 month half pay

The Role
- You will work either alone or as part of a team undertaking duties of an electrician on building maintenance, improvement work and new installations throughout our housing stock.
- You will be included in our out of hour’s service with the additional benefit of overtime and of a 5% multi-skilled salary enhancement, which includes the emergency call out standby allowance
- The role requires the ability for the post holder to hold basic skills in various trade disciplines and ensure works provided are of the highest quality, efficient and good value for money for our customers.
Qualifications
- You will have a full Electrician Qualification at level 3 or higher, or equivalent
- You will also have experience of domestic and/or commercial related works
- Have up to date knowledge and understanding of Electricity at Work regulations
- Experience in providing excellent customer service and developing relationships
