F & I Group is a leading construction company in the North East with over 40 years of experience. We have recently expanded the business further into Solar Renewable Energy and we are looking to grow the team again.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Renewable Energy installer based in Washington, North East. We cover all of the North East, although most of our work is within a 30-mile catchment area from the office we could on the odd occasion go further.
You will be required to work Monday - Friday
We install mainly on residential properties both retrofit and new build with occasional commercial work so knowledge of both Single phase and 3 phase would be advantageous.

Flowing Energy Solutions takes a totally different approach than many in the industry, focusing on high quality installations done by both a specialised solar electrician and qualified roofers. System efficiency is of paramount importance and by using MCS approved design software the company can survey buildings and quote for Solar PV almost on the spot. All ordering of parts and sign off documentation is done through SharePoint built by the F & I Group. We also have a delivery team to get all parts to site and remove any waste. All these systems and processes have been put in place to make the install team get on with what they do best with ease.

Overtime is available but not expected. Bonus scheme in place.
There is an unprecedented demand for Solar PV across the North East which is set to grow in the coming years due to predicted government incentives and rising energy bills, there has never been a better time to join the renewables industry.
Key Responsibilities:
● Electrical installation of Solar PV, and Battery Storage Systems
● Installation of EV Chargers
● Installation of Energy Monitoring
● Installation of three phase distribution boards, metal trunking and armoured cables associated with repowering larger sites to benefit from Solar PV and Battery Storage
● The role will include training an electrical apprentice and supervising other work associated with the installation of Solar PV systems
● Assisting with other tasks associated with the installation of Solar PV
Required Skills:
● City and Guilds 2372 & Level 3 or equivalent
● Inspection and testing (Not essential but will be need experience, training can be offered)
● 18th Edition (Training Can be Provided)
● Experience in Solar PV & Battery Storage essential
● Working at heights (Training can be offered))
Desirable Skills:
● JIB Gold card
● BPEC
● City & Guilds
● C&G 2919 EV Charger Installation
● C&G 2399 Solar PV Installation (or similar)
● Experience installing Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging points
