Electrician – Night Shift

Our Electricians are critical to the smooth running of our Operations. Providing comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise. Working Hours:

This role is based on our night shift pattern;

Sunday 22:00 to 06:05

Monday to Thursday 21:50 to 06:05

41 hours per week Sunday to Thursday

Our mix that awaits you:

Installation/Maintenance of machinery/equipment in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 plus any other specific standard deemed appropriate to task being undertaken
To follow set procedures for permit to work, job recording, fire alarm muting, Health & Safety and Hygiene set systems of work
Programming/diagnostics monitoring of PLC controlled systems
To maintain all machinery to the standard expected within a food environment
The continuous improvement of all production/packaging machinery
Preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance
The construction and installation of electrical control panels and systems
Fault diagnostics and repair of existing systems/equipment
Maintaining electrical services throughout the factory and offices
Understanding and complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and the Environmental Permit to the extent it affects your role

Ingredients that you bring with you:

Previous installation and commissioning work experience – essential
Extensive PLC experience – highly desirable
Breakdown and fault-finding experience – desirable
Fully completed Apprenticeship – essential
Multi-skilled – desirable
Previous food manufacturing experience – preferred
Qualified to IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
