Job description
You will be carrying out periodic inspections and testing domestic properties (EICR), carrying out any repairs required and ensuring the property is left in a safe and usable condition.
There will be instances where the property can’t be made satisfactory during your inspection, so applicant must also be able to identify issues, and inform the office how to make the repairs and must also be able to identify what materials are required to carry out the work.
You will be dealing with multiple people on a daily basis, so a friendly attitude and excellent communication skills are essential.
All paperwork will be submitted electronically, so it will be beneficial if you have had experience using an online certification software and a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
Requirements:
- Solid background with proven experience of working in a social housing environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations.
- BS:7671 18th Edition.
- CAT B - Non-Licensable Works With Asbestos qualification
- A positive attitude and willingness to get the job done to the best of your ability.
