Location: Glasgow – Govan
Salary: £33,380.00 (Plus 33% shifts allowance available)
Role Responsibilities:
We have exciting roles for more than 400 skilled trades to help us build the Type 26 frigates for the Royal Navy. These will provide security for our country and allies for decades to come. We are now recruiting Electricians to install all types of cables (multi-core, single core, and co-axial) & electrical systems, with the aim of delivering the very best product possible to our customers. You will be working to engineering standards, striving for quality right first time.
Your skills and experiences:
- Trade papers, e.g. Formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
- Understanding of electrical installation drawings
- Clear understanding of SHE Risks Awareness
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height
- Safety certification i.e. SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc
- Background in major construction / manufacturing environment
