Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in the Renewable Industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in traditional industries and have transferable skills to enable them to come over to the Renewable sector, which is now rapidly growing, to learn new skills in this future-proof industry.
Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects through the design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. You will coordinate with the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects through all phases: design, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Develop project plans and schedules
- Manage and lead teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and report on status
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Manage budgets and forecast costs
- Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction with delivery outcomes
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and devise solutions to problems that arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Experience in Project Management
- Background in Construction/Engineering or similar field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage project timelines, budget, resources, and risks.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Proficient in project management software, MS Office Suite
