Job description
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
Hours: 2 Week Rotation, Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm – ! No Nights!
Benefits: Overtime, Personal Bonus Scheme, Pension scheme, Healthcare
Location: Barnsley Industry: Manufacturing (not food)
Role Details:
The Electrical Maintenance Engineers are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all sites production equipment, whilst adhering to strict health and safety and technical legislation.
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance activities
- Ability to fault find and problem solve
- Complete daily reports on CMS System
- Work alongside manufacturing dept with product development and testing
- Quality assurance
- Electrical and Mechanical Skills required to maintenance plant machinery
- Understanding of Health and Safety Procedures and legislation
- Attend breakdowns, complete regular machine maintenance performing high quality root cause analysis
- Ensuring the companies PPM procedures are met
- Regular review equipment performance
- Continuous improvement and project work
- Machinery Installations
Candidate:
Engineers who have the attributes of:
- Ability to work independently or part as a team
- Uses own initiative
- Maintaining first class relationships with customers and suppliers
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels including clients.
- Read and understanding CAD drawings
- Flexible and self-motivated
Qualifications Required:
- Apprentice Trained Engineer
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC/CITY GUILDS)
