Electrical Estimator - ICP Buntingford £45,000-£55,000 + Benefits Do you have experience of Electrical Estimating within the Electrical Utilities/ICP industry, looking to join a well-established business within the Utilities sector, where you will directly affect the trajectory of the company? On offer is the opportunity to join an expanding company, giving you the chance to complete tenders and agree final bids/submissions with the tendering manager. This company specialises in Grid connections. Through innovation and quality of service, they now require an Electrical Estimator to evaluate the tender enquiry documentation received from clients and ensure all relevant information has been provided. In this role, you will help the company continue its goals in growth, whilst also providing a brilliant service by attending pre-construction meetings with the operations & project management teams when bids are successful and PO's are issued. The Role: - Requesting asset values from IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the projects. - Measuring designs using either PDF or google maps to ensure accurate takeoffs are recorded. - Ensure internal tendering trackers are kept up to date. - Work on a varied range of projects from LV/HV connections, to full onsite builds and installations. The Applicant: - Thorough understanding of ICP industry, including DNO and IDNO processes. - Ability to comprehend electrical specifications/schemes. - Good understanding of electrical installation principles in LV/HV works, including substation installations, HV cabling, ducting etc. - Bid/tender writing experience.
