Job description
We pride ourselves on offering a great value, family experience but can only do this if we have fully operational rides and attractions. From the rides in Thomas Land to the thrill rides like Storm Force 10 and Shockwave, our Maintenance Team works all year round ensuring that all our rides and attractions are safe and reliable and presented on schedule each day for our guests to enjoy.
Teamwork, Integrity and Excellence are the core values you will embrace to drive success and continuous improvement of the team with safety always at the forefront.
Working with an established team, you will undertake PPM checks on our rides, carry out reactive maintenance where needed and complete complex strip down and re-build during our closed periods.
Practical experience of plant maintenance is essential. You will possess knowledge of control systems, AC/DC drives, be able to interpret electrical schematics and have experience of fault diagnosis. Qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
Teamwork and flexibility are key to the success of this role. During the season you will be required to work weekend days and Bank Holidays on a rota basis and, at times, will be working alone. As such, you must be confident in dealing with issues as they arise and have a problem-solving approach to your work.
If this sounds like a role and an environment you would thrive in, and you have a ‘head for heights’, we would love to hear from you.
What can we offer you?
Our teams enjoy an extensive range of benefits including 30 days holiday, free & discounted park entry tickets, discounted food & beverage rates and free on-site parking.
