Job description
Humber Recruitment are advertising an exciting opportunity, on behalf of a valued engineering client, based in Grimsby.
They require a qualified electrical designer with the following skills:
Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel designs.
Perform and produce electrical design calculations and associated documentation.
Produce and check detailed scope of works and other design documentation.
Prepare and check cable schedules.
Conduct site visits and surveys.
Understand and work from P&ID’s and site layouts.
Specify equipment and prepare and check electrical equipment datasheets.
Work and manage other disciplines, contractors, and clients.
Knowledge of the food industry would be an advantage but not essential.
Must be prepared to occasionally work away from home.
Personal qualities and qualifications
Committed & enthusiastic.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
HNC or HND qualified (or equivalent with relevant experience).
Experienced in the use of AutoCAD electrical or Eplan.
- Grimsby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- AutoCAD electrical / Eplan: 1 year (preferred)
