Location – Hythe, SO45 3NR
Hours – Monday – Friday, 37.5 Hours per week
Job Overview
Apleona UK currently seeking an Electrical Apprentice. As an Apprentice you will be required through study, work experience and training to gain the relevant qualification. Roles & Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities will be varied and will include, but not be limited to:
- Undertake an formal Apprenticeship programme
- Through work experience, studying, training and development (both practical and vocational) complete a course of study and obtain the required professional qualifications.
- To learn and carry out a range of repairs and installations in our clients premises – suited to the current level of training and development
- Attend college and complete all work on time and to a high standard
- Produce, maintain and be responsible for work details to document experience
- To carry out all required administrative work such as using WOM accurately and timely recording all processes from receiving jobs through to completion including timesheets.
- To liaise and work with other qualified engineers as and when required.
- To be efficient, polite of smart appearance and diligent in the discharge of the duties required, including the wearing of the correct company uniform.
- Deliver responsibilities efficiently and with integrity.
- Take responsibility for initiating and completing tasks
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to meet the eligibility and entry requirements for an Apprenticeship.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both individually or as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintains positive relationships within own team and across the organisation.
- Ability to accept and deal with changing priorities related to both own work and to the organisation.
- Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and decision-making.
- Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to developing skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and organise workload to maximise opportunities.
- Valid UK Driving License.
We’ll provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar environment and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
