Electric Lite Delivery Driver - Part Time York, England
Job description
A unique opportunity has arisen at our York Distribution Centre YO26 6QU as we are recruiting for individuals to join our Electric lite vehicle team. In this role you will be required to work two days a week,10 hours a day.
- Working Times: 8.30am - 6.30pm
- Hourly Rate: £10.79ph

You don’t need to have any previous experience to join our team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude (plus a full UK driving licence held for 12 months or more), and we will do the rest!

Being a Driver for DPD you’ll often be the first point of contact that our customers have with us, so providing a great service when you hand over a parcel is just as important as delivering the parcel on time.
This role will involve driving our Electric Lite vehicles for our small express parcels, delivering within the local area.
What we’re looking for:
To be considered for the role you must have:
Held a full UK driving licence and had regular driving experience for 12 months or more
We are also looking for you to demonstrate that you:
- Recognise the value of providing great customer service
- Can work to deadlines, are flexible and always go above and beyond
- Are friendly, approachable, positive, resourceful and professional
- Are able to multi-task and problem solve
