Job description
- Contract: Permanent Employed / 40 Hours Per Week
- Location: Reading Depot, Maidstone, ME20 6WT
- Hourly Rate: £11.33 ph - Overtime paid at enhanced rates
- Days of Work: 4 from 7 including weekends.

You don’t need to have any previous experience to join our team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude (plus a full UK driving licence held for 12 months or more), and we will do the rest!

Being a Driver for DPD you’ll often be the first point of contact that our customers have with us, so providing a great service when you hand over a parcel is just as important as delivering the parcel on time.This role will involve driving our Electric Lite vehicles for our small express parcels, delivering within the local area.
You'll be driving one of our eco-friendly lite vehicles and doing your part for the environment. Our electric lite vehicles utilise the latest technology to ensure you can carry as many deliveries and cover as many miles as conventional vehicles, but without the environmental impact.
What we’re looking for:
To be considered for the role you must have:
Held a full UK driving licence and had regular driving experience for 12 months or more
We are also looking for you to demonstrate that you:

- Can work to deadlines, are flexible and always go above and beyond
- Are friendly, approachable, positive, resourceful and professional
- Are able to multi-task and problem solve
