Role summary:
As a key member of our ESHW (Environment, Health, Safety and Wellbeing) team, you will support in delivering health and safety expertise for our construction programme. You will lead on-site health and safety assurance activities in compliance with legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
What you will be doing:
- Communicate and ensure understanding of company strategies, policies and health & safety requirements
- Maintain and promote high standards in Safety, Health, Environment, Security, and Quality
- Review and manage health & safety documentation for projects
- Contribute to the development and improvement of safety activities and licence condition compliance
Formal qualifications or training:
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice or equivalent
- IOSH grade of CMIOSH or GradIOSH (working towards CMIOSH)
- Previous experience in nuclear or high secure sectors is desirable
