Location: Homebased with travel to manufacturing sites in UK, Belgium, Finland, Czech Republic, Thailand, Malaysia and USA

As the EHS Operations Manager, there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day. You will play a critical role in realising the company’s goal of zero injuries, harm and waste.

As the EHS Operations Manager, you will be expected to:


  • Drive transformation initiatives to establish a culture of operational safety excellence, in partnership with business leaders.

  • Working closely with the Global Corporate Sustainability Director, EHS to develop global policies, procedures, and programs to achieve world class EHS performance.

  • Developing the Occupational Health & Safety excellence program to deliver on global Sustainability roadmap.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and continuous professional development to our local EHS professionals and collaborate with peers from across the business.

  • Ensure risks are understood, and corrective plans are identified and implemented promptly to remove further risks through effective risk management.

  • Lead the corporate internal audit program and supporting closing any non-conformances or implementing opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensure all sites adhere to local legislation, company and industry standards including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

What you’ll need


  • Significant experience working in a similar senior level EHS role

  • Previous team leadership, coaching, mentoring and career development

  • Belief in the benefits of collaborative working and ability to demonstrate the required behaviours.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience with the proven ability to influence authority at all levels.

  • Certified ISO 14001 & 45001 auditor

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in related EHS field of study

  • Relevant professional qualification; e.g. NEBOSH chartered status

  • Fluent in English, additional languages desirable.
