As an EHP, you will be responsible for the quality and delivery of Audits and associated services that you undertake. This includes:
- Carrying out audits to a wide range of clients, as well as getting involves in other areas of safety such as training and ad-hoc consultancy when required
- Ensuring that every audit you perform is delivered and uploaded on time and in full - the good news is that thanks to our easy-to-use Audit Upload Tool, your days won't be spent writing up reports
- Taking responsibility for the quality of all written and verbal communication to our clients
- Organising your own diary, workload and expenses, supported by our Service Co-ordinators and your Manager
- Using your technical knowledge to support the other teams within the business
- Being part of our Helpline team occasionally on a rota basis to make sure our customers can get in touch with someone if they need support
- Following the core values of the business and representing Shield Safety in a professional manner at all times
- Maintaining personal competency, professional development, accreditation, and CPD
- Supporting with the graduate training scheme when required
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- BSc (Hons) or MSc (Hons) in Environmental Health
- Experience dealing with health & safety or risk/compliance solutions
- Excellent report & communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage one’s own time effectively
- Strong relationship building skills
- IT literate
