We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team.
This is an opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the team in the Low Secure Forensic Mental Health Inpatient Service on a fixed term basis.
The post holder will carry out specialised Occupational Therapy assessment and provide interventions to adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and who may also display behaviours that challenge and have a forensic history. Consideration of risk management and Occupational Therapy within a secure setting are essential.
There will be a role in supervision of OT staff and developing the forensic Occupational Therapy service.
Multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working is an integral component of the post to ensure effective delivery of patient care in the acute hospital setting and beyond, through discharge planning and appropriate onward community referrals.

The post holder will be currently registered with HCPC and have a diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
