Tutors and Education Support Workers required
Educla Ltd is an established alternative provision education service covering the North West and North East.
We are seeking tutors who have knowledge and experience of teaching in a SEN/D environment to develop our Functional Skills offer, ensuring that this is an option for all of our Learners.
The successful applicant will be responsible for using a collaborative, multi-sensory and holistic approach to the delivery of the English and Maths Functional Skills curriculum, be able to plan and resource their own lessons and assess students’ ability. The applicant will be responsible for keeping up to date records and following Educla’s policies and procedures. The post holder will work both on a 1:1 basis and/or with small groups within the setting at a variety of sites within an agreed locality.
To be successful in this role you will have prior experience of delivering Functional Skills, be innovative in your approach to teaching and have some experience of managing health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
