We are looking to recruit a permanent Education Services Officer to work in our Professional Placement team within Education Services.
Professional Placements is part of a wider Education Services department. The department is organised around three thematic areas: Assessment, Student and Curriculum. Colleagues work collaboratively and flexibly to support the needs of the whole department in relation to the demands of the academic calendar.
Whilst this role is based within the Professional Placements team, staff work flexibly across all areas of Education Services.
The Role:
The Professional Placement team manage the allocation and management of mandatory placements for students on Professional accredited programmes within the Faculty of Health and Education and Department of Healthcare Science in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The Programme area of this post will be in the Work Based Learning Programmes, Education Studies, Psychology, Early Childhood Studies.
This role would be well suited to candidates with excellent attention to detail, who works well in a team environment and has excellent customer services skills.

- Will have the confidence to take responsibility for defined areas of work within Professional Placements.
- Feels comfortable taking ownership of and resolving complex queries.
