POSITION: Educational Effectiveness Coordinator (FT)
Effective immediately: (FT) Online Coordinator supporting the College of Technology – Wilmington University, New Castle.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is required and a Master’s Degree is preferred. The incumbent must have sufficient experience to perform the job successfully to support online learning within the College of Technology. This includes experience in online learning. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational and critical thinking skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Must have advanced knowledge of online learning procedures and course delivery platforms (Canvas preferred). Successful completion of Wilmington University online training will be required. Must be able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations.
- Provide administrative coordination for all aspects of hybrid, face to face, and online programs.
- The individual will work closely with the chairs and directors to assure compliance to the Teaching Expectations of faculty.
- Canvas analytics will be used to monitor online faculty engagement activities including but not limited to posting of announcements, inclusion of due dates, presence of personalized syllabus, and timely grading and feedback.
- Analyze course data and will collaborate with student services to improve student experience and to support students identified as at-risk.
- Works in partnership with various departments in course development and redevelopment.
- Must observe, manage, and guide faculty with training needs with the support of the Center of Teaching Excellence.
- Must maintain active communication with online faculty, addresses issues identified through audits, and provides timely response to faculty.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Senior Director of Educational Effectiveness or the AVP of Academic Support Services.

Hours of Employment: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Incumbent may be asked to be flexible with hours with the possibility of occasionally working evenings and weekends. Some travel may be necessary for professional development events.
