Role
We are looking for someone to join the Digital Education team at KMMS.
KMMS (Kent and Medway Medical School) is a collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent.
Duties and responsibilities
- Re-directing e-mail queries which have arrived in the digital education inbox, but are handled by other departments e.g. forgotten password requests should go to the relevant university IT helpdesk.
- Uploading of reviewed PowerPoint files and any other files to the VLE.
- Exporting of narrated PowerPoint files to mp4.
- Uploading of mp4s
- Embedding of recordings for pre-recorded lectures, for live lectures and for pre-reading documents (Year 3).
- Supporting external contributors with access to systems e.g. logging in at a lecture theatre pc, opening Qwickly, setting up lecture recording.
- Supporting online Collaborate sessions e.g. promoting those arriving via guest link to a presenter/moderator role.
- Editing of KMMS Learn (our virtual learning environment) module layout if required e.g. moving folders, copying tests etc.
Skills and experience
- The ability to learn quickly.
- Good customer service skills to liaise with staff, students and external contacts of the Medical School.
- Specialised experience ideally or comfortable with technology and willing to learn.
- Experience of working with virtual learning environments if possible

Contract length: 2 months
Salary: £13.74 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
