- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with youth employment laws, Work-Based Learning and Career Pathways
- Previous job-related experience or post-secondary education in a related field.
- Working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
- Demonstrated proficiency in: oral and written communication, proofreading and basic accounting skills.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy with administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents and community.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Has undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required duties
- Has an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check
- Associates Degree in business.
- Work-Based Learning - Manage all documentation, reporting, employer and instructor contact for Co-op, Work Experience, Unpaid Training/Internships and Job Shadowing. Work with state and local auditors to ensure work-based learning compliance.
- Review and approve work permits and work with employers to resolve issues.
- Coordinate student recognition - National Technical Honor Society program and My104.3 student of the month/year.
- Coordinate and implement all aspects of pre-testing and end of program assessments.
- Conduct mock interviews and resume critiques for students.
- Assist Counselor with preparations for area school presentations.
- Plan and conduct tours for students and visitors.
- Coordinate marketing efforts for GI-TEC.
- Develop and maintain GO BOX, emergency route maps and participate in BERT activities and drills.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community.
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

This is a 210 day position (8.0 hours per day) with salary and benefits as outlined in the Agreement between the Mt. Pleasant Support Personnel Association and The Mt. Pleasant Board of Education.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions established in the Agreement between the Mt. Pleasant Support Personnel Association and the Mt. Pleasant Board of Education.
