This role reports to Managing Editor Capital and Capital Dance
Overview of job
To support the Managing Editor in all aspects of his role, collaborating closely with colleagues and key industry contacts to make sure the Capital and Capital Dance Radio brands run as seamlessly and effectively as possible.

Measures of success –
In the first few months, you would have:
Started to build great relationships with key team members and heads of departments.
You will have a strong grasp of key duties like diary management, invoices and contract management
You will be playing a key role in the planning and organisation of the Capital and Capital Dance teams’ weekly routines!
Responsibilities of the role
You will be super-organised, with a consistent track record in handling a busy diary
Your astute approach will mean you’re able to make the right decisions on behalf of the Managing Editor, Capital and Capital Dance, playing a central role in ensuring their time is handled effectively
You’ll prepare presenter invoices and send these to finance to be paid in a timely fashion
As the person who runs the guest list for our external events, you’ll demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and will be totally at ease when dealing with high-profile VIP's
You’re someone who’s adept at prioritising a variety of tasks, and who really knows how to prioritise
Although a knowledge of the music we play is not essential, an awareness of our marketplace and Capital brand would be advantageous
You’ll be responsible for booking rooms and travel for meetings, as well as ordering refreshments
As PA to the Managing Editor, you’ll be a vital part of our Broadcasting and Content team. With that in mind, the successful candidate is someone who can contribute great ideas to the wider Capital family, be it in relation to on-air, digital, social media, live events, or the commercial side of our business
