EDClass is an online platform that offers a virtual learning classroom and management portal with resources to impact learning, assessment and catch-up.

We are looking for a full time and permanent Editor to join our already existing team to work out of our busy Dinnington Office.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone to join our creative media team who will work closely with our sales and marketing team and teaching and learning team to ensure that our products are innovative and reach far beyond industry standards.

You will be responsible for the growth and development of the learning content.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Editing video content lessons that have been created to cover the current national curriculum that have been filmed onsite in one of our digital virtual classrooms
  • Filming lessons that are outside or in locations not in the office using our top of the range technical equipment
  • Be responsible for filming with the company drone
  • Participate in meetings and offer ideas and suggestions of how to enhance our media content
  • Working within the department, to ensure all content is created and stored in an appropriate manner
  • Working closely with the Senior Management team and other key colleagues to ensure the suitability of all content and getting involved in keyword research.

Person Specification:

· Must be eligible for an Enhanced DBS check

· Have 2 years’ editing and filming content

· Hold a full driving license and own their own car which can be used for business purposes

· Must have GCSE in English and maths grade C or above (or equivalent)

· Ideally hold a qualification in media

· Be competent at using ICT software

· Strong communication skills

· Must be professional at all times and be capable of liaising with people on all levels

· Be able to organise and prioritise using your own initiative

· Be willing to compete annual CPD and any training necessary
