WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a new Editor to join our growing team and be a key part of our editing team, making stunning videos for a diverse range of clients. You will need to have editing experience, knowledge of the social media and online video landscape and be able to work across multiple projects at once.

While we are looking for an editor with experience, we care very deeply about our company values, and will recruit primarily based on team fit.


Role and responsibilities:

  • Editing videos to a consistently high standard on time and on budget
  • Working alongside our Senior Editor to manage the post-production side of the business
  • Editing videos suitable for a wide range of online uses and meeting the latest specifications for different social platforms
  • Ensuring our edits adhere to clients’ branding, design and style
  • Using your experience and knowledge to actively contribute to team creative sessions, helping to pitch ideas and outline the edit approach for projects
  • Working as part of the post-production team, problem solving on the go to achieve the project aims
  • Maintaining impeccable grammar and punctuation skills
  • Receiving and enacting client feedback and providing feedback within the team
  • Maintaining a wide view of current project statuses and acting preemptively to ensure project success using Monday.com boards and other management tools
  • Undertaking research and tasks alongside the rest of the team to grow the company

Experience and requirements:

  • Excellent editing skills with an understanding of narrative storytelling, edit processes and emotion.
  • Evidence of a diverse editing ability, especially editing for social media and online use.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the post-production process
  • Experienced in video editing, sound design and post production in Premiere Pro, with experience in After Effects desirable
  • Experience of using Apple computers and Google Workplace a bonus
  • Experience of editing videos across a range of client types and industries in a creative environment, with experience creating videos for social media ads or social media content especially desirable
  • Experience in sound mixing in Adobe Audition or similar would be valuable bonus
  • Experienced in working as part of a team
  • A desire to be part of a growing team of creatives with the ability to get stuck into all parts of the process
  • A desire to have a long-term career as a video editor
  • The ability to work under pressure, a constant eye on the details and always striving to produce work to the very highest standards.
  • A genuine passion for social video and branded content
