About UsWe are a online retailer selling high quality natural fibre yarns and premium knitting and crochet products worldwide. We are growing and looking for a talented, motivated individual to join our team to help process the increasing number of orders.The role would be perfect for someone who is looking for part time work 3 days a week or wanting work 5 days between school hours. A knowledge of knitting / crochet would be a significant advantage.LOCATION: Great Barrow, CH3 7JNHOURS: 21 hrs a week or 3 daysKey Responsibilities will include:· Receiving stock deliveries, checking and putting away stock· Order fulfilment including pick, pack and label orders to present for posting· Ensuring stock locations and levels are correct including periodic stock checks and communicating discrepancies to be updated on the system.· Maintain tidy and ordered warehouse.Your profile:· You will have some experience of online retail order fulfillment, warehousing and stock management· Your previous experience will demonstrate the ability to work accurately and at speed· You will be a motivated individual and have a bright personality – we’re a small team and need people who can use initiative and can work with a degree of independence.· You will be a good communicator and team player able to integrate with other team members· Knowledge, skills and interest in knitting or crochet would be beneficial but not essential· We are located out of town so you need to be able to drive to work each day.What we’re offering:· Temporary position - 9 months· Work in an informal, small team in an excellent work environment· The opportunity to make a difference to both the organisation you work for and the customer.Job Types: Temporary contract, Part-timeContract length: 9 monthsSalary: £13,545.00 per yearExpected hours: 21 per weekBenefits:Casual dressCompany pensionFlexitimeOn-site parkingSchedule:FlexitimeExperience:warehouse or ecommerce: 3 years (preferred)Retail sales: 3 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 22/10/2023
