The Job...
The Ecommerce Operations Manager will enjoy leading and motivating a team of around 10 people, whilst working towards improving process and productivity. You'll be key in the analysis and reporting of business performance and sales KPIs, working closely with the CEO.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing staff time and productivity against agreed KPIs.
- Analysing operational data to create and present recommendations for strategic and operational changes and improvements.
- Weekly reporting to the CEO on business performance metrics and sales KPIs.
- Investigating customer satisfaction, ensuring the quality of customer service is of the highest standard, and reporting/resolving any customer issues.
- Handling team management including monthly one-to-ones with staff, setting tasks, and organising appropriate training.
- Identifying resource requirements and assisting with the hiring and onboarding of new talent to the business.
- Keeping on top of regulatory requirements, ensuring the business is protected and operating risk-free.
- Translating feature or process change requests into actionable tasks for completion.
About You...
If you're an experienced operations and customer focused manager, with a strategic and creative mindset, you'll be used to, and enjoy, finding solutions to day-to-day and longer term business challenges. The nature of the business means you'll need to come from an Ecommerce Operations Manager background.
Here's some of the experience you need to be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record of managing ecommerce websites, including a good understanding and working knowledge of Google Analytics, email and social media platforms, and project management software.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent people management skills, with experience of KPI reviews and performance management, across a multi-disciplined team.
- The ability to work independently in your home office environment, whilst also managing a group of engaged remote workers.
