Job description

Following strong growth over the past two years, Online4baby is about to embark on an exciting new phase of development. We are looking for an ambitious Senior Ecommerce Manager, or Manager looking to take their next step, to join our team and help develop and lead our trade function.
We are an agile team operating in a start-up environment. This role comes with responsibility for day-to-day management and merchandising of the website, optimisation of key functionalities, and trade calendar planning. Close collaboration with marketing and buying teams will be a key part of your role, providing data and insight to produce actionable recommendations that can quickly be deployed.
Reporting into the CMO, this role comes with line management responsibility for a Senior Ecommerce Executive and offers progression to Head of Ecommerce for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities
Working alongside the Senior Ecommerce Executive, you will own the day-to-day management of a custom-built website, including search, merch and recommendation zones (via XO), page optimisations (via Contentful), as well as managing banner changes, PLP builds etc.
Working with the CMO to plan, build and execute the trading strategy for Online4baby and own brands. Core objective will be to support revenue delivery predominantly by optimising AOV and CVR.
Trade calendar management including collaborating with marketing and buying to effectively execute campaigns and deliver key business priorities.
Using data from GA4 to produce reporting for stakeholders with key actionable insights (targeting improvements to CVR%, AOV, bounce rate etc); ownership of key reporting streams up to CEO-level.
Proactively optimising the website based on data from GA4, Hotjar, XO and other tools, then collaborating with the CMO and Dev team to drive tech initiatives that improve customer experience and journey.
Working collaboratively with buying and merchandising teams to understand stock and product coming into the business, feeding back into marketing to ensure risks are managed and opportunities are maximised, whilst keeping the website aligned to product launches.
Hands on in Google Tag Manager when required, including the upload and deployment, or removal, of tags (experience is not essential and training will be provided, however you should be comfortable working with schema and code).
As the business launches into new territories in the next 12-18 months, you will work closely with the CMO and Dev team on the technical and onsite elements of entering a new locale.
Building relationships is integral to the role, as you will be working collaboratively with the marketing team to optimise campaign performance.
Liaising with teams across the business including buying, logistics and customer services, to establish a continuous feedback loop around website performance and insight into stock, range and competitive offering.
